This happens because Hendry, a Lukman family employee, wants Lukman to marry Rina. Dewi is determined to pay for the education of her younger brother, Johan. Johan later marries Ratih, Hendry’s abandoned daughter. At Ratih’s request, Dewi and her mother live in Johan’s house.
